Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner
Paulette Carrieri, W.D.P.
Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner
Serving English speaking students worldwide.
This credential recognizes individuals as prepared to diagnostically teach students identified with a language‐based learning disability, such as dyslexia, at the beginning levels of decoding and encoding.

Why Me?
As a Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, I offer private, individually tailored, one-on-one, tutorial sessions using the structured literacy method. Structured literacy is an effective, scientifically proven method of teaching people with dyslexia to read. It focuses on the systematic teaching of phonological awareness, the use of phonics to decode and encode, word recognition, morphology, and syntax. Over the years, I have successfully taught numerous children to read through the use of this method.
- Certified by the International Dyslexia Association and The Wilson Language Program.
- Passionate and dedicated to helping my students succeed.
- Proven results.

Additionally, as the mother of a child who wrestled with reading difficulties, I understand firsthand the overwhelming fear one can sometimes feel when first faced with the reality of this difficulty. However, as a Practitioner, I also understand the creativity and unique strengths of those with dyslexia and work hard to help my students recognize their strengths and overcome their challenges.
Dyslexia does not need to define who they are. In fact, once reading, most children experience increased self-esteem and learn to thrive, not in spite of their dyslexia, but because of it.
